Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of combining the rich historical architectural heritage of the cities of Uzbekistan with modern design solutions. Architectural schools formed in the ancient cities of the country, their artistic features and possibilities of application in modern urban planning and interior design are highlighted. Problems encountered in the processes of conservation, reconstruction of historical monuments and their adaptation to new urban requirements and their solutions are considered. Also, the importance of the harmony of historical architecture and modern design in tourism, economic development and strengthening of national identity is analyzed with scientific foundations.
