Abstract

This article examines the essence of geometric proving activity, its historical development, and its didactic foundations. The study analyzes the characteristics of deductive and inductive reasoning in geometry, the logical nature of geometric knowledge, and the theoretical factors for developing students’ proving competence. The philosophical, logical, and pedagogical roots of geometric proof are discussed, offering essential principles for enhancing geometric thinking in modern education.
