Abstract

This article discusses the issues of construction and technological development of kimono-type clothes in a modern design based on Uzbek national fabrics. During the research, the physical, mechanical and aesthetic properties of atlas, adras and bekasam fabrics were studied and analyzed as the most optimal option for kimono-shaped dresses. The design of the clothes is adapted to the anthropometric dimensions of Uzbek women and is based on the principles of ergonomic comfort, aesthetic harmony and technological efficiency. As a result of the research, a model kimono dress based on Uzbek national fabrics was developed and practical tests were conducted. The results showed that the combination of national fabrics with modern design solutions gives positive results not only in terms of aesthetics, but also in terms of practical use. The article is of scientific and practical importance for application in the fields of clothing design, light industry technology, and preservation of national cultural heritage.
